Services We Offer for Members
As a professional association dedicated to supporting Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs), we provide a comprehensive range of services designed to keep our members informed, connected, and compliant with the latest industry standards. Our goal is to create a collaborative environment where consultants can continuously grow their knowledge, enhance their practice, and better serve their clients.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
We offer accredited CPD programs across different fields of immigration practice, ensuring that our members remain up to date with College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) requirements. Our association provides the full 16 CPD hours required each year to maintain your licence. These programs are delivered by experienced professionals and subject matter experts, covering a wide variety of immigration topics.
Monthly Policy Review Meetings
Every month, our members come together to review the latest updates in immigration policies, procedures, and regulations. These sessions help ensure that RCICs stay informed of policy shifts and can adapt their practices accordingly.
Case Study Discussions & Peer Feedback
We foster a collaborative learning environment by providing opportunities for members to present and discuss real-life cases. Through constructive peer-to-peer feedback, members can receive independent third-party opinions, helping them evaluate different approaches and strengthen their case strategies.
Rule & Regulation Updates
We provide timely updates on any changes to immigration rules, government policies, and regulatory frameworks. Our members receive reliable information in an organized format, allowing them to stay ahead of changes that may impact their clients.
Q&A Forums
Members benefit from interactive Q&A sessions where they can ask questions, share challenges, and receive insights from peers and experts. These forums encourage open dialogue and collaborative problem-solving.
Networking & Professional Community
We provide a platform for RCICs to connect, exchange knowledge, and build professional relationships. Our community fosters mutual support, helping members strengthen their practices and expand their professional networks.
Public Relations & Advocacy
Based on the trends and requirements of the immigration ecosystem, we may serve as the collective voice of RCICs, providing feedback to authorities about policies and regulations. When necessary, we also take initiative in advocating for members’ concerns—for example, by launching petitions, as we have successfully done in the past, to ensure members’ voices are heard and considered in decision-making.
Membership Standards & Expertise
We are committed to maintaining the highest professional standards. All members are screened based on their previous performance to ensure they have no disciplinary faults, no criminal record, and are in good standing with CICC. The backbone of our association is the extensive experience of our board and members, who bring professionalism, integrity, and deep knowledge in their respective fields.
